 My New Hero

You won't believe what I did yesterday.
I bought this!

Okay, mine is a little cooler, has some more tricked out chrome on the muffler. It is a Kymco People 50 Scooter. It gets 88 MPG and goes up to about 45 MPH. A perfect little urban transport with a retro-Euro design. It's a Chinese make (the instruction manual will be a separate post!) that is really going to give Vespa a run for their money!

This is Hero at Centennial Olympic Park.

Near my brick

It's the first new thing in my life in sooooooo long. By new, I mean something really new to me, like my first car or my first camera; magical times. I guess the last new thing in my life was my first computer some 15 odd years ago. I have had many new ones since then and a new love, new house, new dog(s), new car etc., but they were not the first. I haven't taken up crocheting or any other hobbies that would bring new substrates into my life since then. Now, Heliotrope and owning my first business is on a whole different plane, but it's not my first job.

Man, I covered some ground today, not to scale...

1.PRECAUTIONS FOR A SAFE RIDING
(1) CLOTHES
A motorcycle rider should not wear loose or too long
clothes to avoid danger.

During riding or 10 minutes after the motorcycle is
stopped, do not touch the exhaust muffler to avoid
scalding.

When parking the motorcycle, keep it away from dry
lawn or inflammables to avoid danger.

To relax and wear comfortable clothes are the main
points for a safe riding.

To observe traffic laws, keep a cool mind, relax and be
careful will provide you a safe riding.

Wear helmet and fasten it tightly.

Have the clothes well-arranged. Fasten shirt cuffs and
keep them from hooking the brake lever.

10. IMPORTANT NOTICES
(1) WHEN THE ENGINE FAILS TO START OR STOPS
DURING RIDING
Is the gasoline enough?
If the fuel gauge pointer is at the red line, refill #92 or #95 nonleaded gasoline.
Is the way to start the engine correct?
Is there any other faulty parts?

 A Prelude to a Dream

I'd like to walk in a field with you,
take my hat and my shirt off too.
I'd like to lie in a field with you.
Would you like to do it too?

I'd like to stand in a stream with you,
roll my trousers up and not feel blue.
I'd like to wash in a stream with you.
Would you like to do it too?

You and I, country dreamer,
when there's nothing else to do;
Me oh my, country dreamer,
make a country dream come true.

I'd like to climb up a hill with you,
stand on top and admire the view.
I'd like to roll down a hill with you.
Would you like to do it too?

I'd like to climb up a hill with you,
take my hat and my shirt off too.
I'd like to lie in a field with you.
Would you like to do it too?
